The F6 Leuku Survival Knife is our modern take on the classic Scandinavian leuku knife design. The 6" blade is 3/16" thick and made from CPM®3V steel, making it exceptionally durable for hard use applications around camp. This blade has excellent weight and balance making it ideal for tasks ranging from light chopping to field dressing dinner. At 5.25" long, the handle provides the user with many comfortable grip options specific to the task at hand. If you're heading out into the wilderness and only bringing one knife, this would be a great option. The F6 is a jack of all trades and master of many. We recommend pairing the F6 Leuku Survival Knife with the F4 Bushcraft Survival Knife to cover all your basis in the field.

well designed, well balanced and very well made, I will probably buy an additional F4
I never write reviews until I have used a product for a long enough period to see if it holds up to expected standards. I have had the Reiff F4 and F6 for over a year now and all I can say is WOW! These are awesome knives that you can depend on when needed. Did I get my moneys worth? Absolutely! I learned a long time ago that you get what you pay for. If it is inexpensive it will probably be cheaply made. If it seems expensive and you have to wait to get it it is mostly likely well made and you will enjoy the experience with it. I also had the need to talk to the maker of these knives before I actually received mine and you couldn't find a nice will grounded individual. He is the type of person that even if he doesn't know you he will give you shirt off his back if you need it. I do have an addiction to knives too so when the F3 came out I purchased it also. I haven't had it long enough to truly put it though its paces but it would seem to be just as good as the F4 and F6 just down scaled a bit. You will not regret your purchase.
In February I bought an orange/black F3XC and it quickly became my favourite EDC. The only time that I don't have it with me is when I need to dress in a suit - for that I have my carbon fibre folder. Fortunately it doesn't happen often.
Based on that experience, I got F6 and as with F3 - it sits in my hand perfectly from the get go. I already did some firewood prep with it and it's the most comfortable knife for heavier tasks in my collection. I enjoyed every minute of using this blade very much. By this point I can safely say that I'm a huge fan of Reiff knives!
The F6 has proven to be a tough, capable knife with the best handle I have ever operated with and outstanding edge retention. It is such an incredible knife. I have used mine in the field for 8 months and have stopped carrying anything else.
