The Vicon was designed in collaboration with a team of active US Navy SEALs over the course of three years. During that time we worked closely with our SOF partners to develop a tactical field knife that fit their demanding needs in the field. As part of the development process, prototypes were deployed with the team on multiple deployments in different parts of the world to validate the design and materials. During deployment the SEALs took these blades to over ten thousand feet for free fall jumps, to the depths of the ocean on saltwater dives, put them to the test in hand to hand combat training, and trusted them during genuine survival situations in various remote locations around the world. We put the Vicon through years of vigorous testing to prove it won’t fail you when you need it most. This field knife enhances your capabilities whether you’re a professional operator or a weekend outdoor enthusiast.
Its name, Vicon, is derived from a combination of the words "victory" and "distinction" in honor of the brave men who helped us develop this design in service to our country.
The knife needed to withstand extended exposure to salt water and regular hard use. CPM MagnaCut, was chosen for its extreme corrosion resistance, high toughness and exceptional edge retention.
The matte, FDE PVD blade finish is anti-reflective and provides an additional layer of protection against wear, moisture, and abrasion—ideal for what this blade will be subjected to in the field.
The Vicon ships with a precision-molded, modular, ambidextrous Kydex sheath system for secure, flexible carry.
Key sheath system features:
• Retention screw system for adjusting draw weight
• Slots and eyelets for flexible attachment solutions
• Removable kydex offset drop plate prevents the knife from carrying too high and features a 9 hole pattern with 3/4" hole spacing along with two additional strap slots for universal carry attachment compatibility.
• Removable kydex belt loop accomidates vertical or scout carry.
The Vicon and its sheath are made in the USA and backed by our Carry No Cares transferable lifetime warranty.
