THE RANGEWOLF STORY

Back in early 2024 a friend reached out to me and asked if he could connect me with another brand that was possibly interested in exploring a collaboration. I, of course, was interested to learn more and had my friend pass along my contact information. A few days later, Adam Devine, the CEO and Co-Founder of Ranger Point Precision reached out. For those of you who aren't intimately familiar with Ranger Point Precision, suffice it to say, they are the original and most innovative lever action rifle accessories company in the world. During that first conversation, Adam explained he was interested in designing a dynamic hunting knife that was large enough to be practical for every day use, but small enough to mount on a rifle. We proceeded to brainstorm for way longer than either of us initially planned. I could tell we were kindred spirits with a passion for designing and building high quality, American-made products. So I was hooked. Over the next year, we worked together to bring our vision to life, going through revision after revision until we both agreed that the design was just right. The last hurdle we faced was the name. As two Texas companies, one with Ranger in the brand name, we originally planned to call it the Ranger. Coincidentally, several other companies released knives called the Ranger in the year that followed. Disappointed, but determined to persevere, we went back to the drawing board, not wanting to stray far from the original naming concept. After a lot of time and deliberation, we decided on the RangeWolf. "Range" represents Ranger Point Precision, and pays hommage to the Texas Rangers, the open range, and the rich history of ranching in the state of Texas. The "Wolf" is in our logo and represents a wild American spirit, the knack for survival and the thrill of the hunt. The RangeWolf is a lightweight, compact hunting and utility knife made in Texas, USA. We hope you love it as much as we think you will. -Stu Shank
