The sturdy 5" blade is made from a healthy chunk of ultra-tough CPM 3V, a tried and true, American-made super steel.  Measuring .18" thick at the spine, this blade will dish out a beating as well as it will take one. But the F5 isn't all muscle. The high saber grind, keen edge and pronounced tip make it an efficient cutting tool. Like a linebacker in a ballet, this knife will outdance smaller blades on plenty of detailed cutting tasks without breaking a sweat — or an edge. But let's not stop at the blade.
