The F4 GEN2 Bushcraft Survival Knife is the next generation of our flagship, all-purpose F4 Bushcraft Survival Knife. This second generation F4 blade has been updated with a higher, flat saber grind and finer edge geometry for improved cutting and slicing. This first production run features super tough CPM 3V high alloy blade steel, more than capable of supporting the finer edge geometry. Originally engineered as a tool steel with the ability to cut and sheer other tool steels, CPM 3V boasts exceptional edge retention, extreme toughness and best in class corrosion resistance for a non-stainless steel.
Drawing on over 5 years of consistent hard use and professional feedback, we've made subtle improvements to the profile of the knife, further optimizing both the blade shape and the handle ergonomics. The 4" blade is robust yet refined giving it the ability to withstand the toughest survival situations, while breezing through any bushcraft task. It features an attractive stonewash finish that hides scratches and helps keep your knife looking like new. The 90 degree spine rains sparks from your ferro rod and efficently scrapes cedar shavings for fire tinder. The sturdy full tang is skeletonized to reduce the overall weight of the knife, making the F4 an ideal carry companion in the field or around town. You'll find the ergonomic 5" handle has no hotspots, providing a seamless interface between your hand and the tool. The textured canvas micarta scales provide a comfortable, sure grip in wet conditions over a lifetime of hard use. Whether you're crafting a bow drill or field dressing an elk, the F4 will get the job done right.
SHIPPING NOTE: We look like a big company, but we aren't. We are 4 people, 3 of which are part-time. Drop days/weekends are particularly crazy. We do our best to get your order shipped as quickly as possible. Please allow 4-6 business days for your order to ship. Orders are shipped in the order they are received. Expedited shipping is paid to the carrier, not us, and will only affect how fast the carrier gets your order to you once it's in their possession. Even if you choose an expedited shipping option, it won't change how fast we can get your order to the carrier. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Very impressed by this knife, i am use to 3V but the knife just feels amazing in the hands and it just seems to work great no matter what i do ,it has replaced some of my knives for sure. I have no complaints so far at all. Because of that i ordered an F3 on the latest drop with intent to carry as my EDC.
Love my f4g2. The handle makes it so comfortable to hold and use. I plan to pair it with my Gso 8 for a complete camping kit. I only wish they made a f8. F4g2 is my first reiff but won't be my last.
Fit, finish, balance and handling are great. Very useful bush knife!
This is my third Reiff. I have a F3 gen1 and a Vicon both with G10 scales. This F4 I chose Micarta. The G10 is great especially on the Vicon with the texturing but I opted for Micarta on the F4 this time and I'm glad I did. The grip is superior.
I've been daily carrying a dedicated fixed blade for almost 20 years and I've had probably 10 or more in rotation over the years. You get to know what you like and don't like in a blade in that time. You change your mind on things you thought you were certain for life and evolve. There's been a few fixed blades that when I got them where I thought "this is it, This is the last knife I'll need". Then something else sparks your interest.
I'm saying that with this one. My daily carry is always a 3.5-4" blade. Any other fixed blade I own outside that is not carried daily. My F3 is a pocket carry if I'm going somewhere that a belt knife is frowned upon and the Vicon is for when I'm doing heavier work around the homestead or helping friends with projects type thing. The blades I carried for the longest stretches like 2+ years would be the Tops Tex Creek, Cold steel SRK, Fallkniven F1. Esse 4. All great blades. Love them all dearly.
I think the F4 gen 2 is exactly what I want in a blade in every single aspect down to every possible detail. I've never bought a second blade as a backup (was tempted to with the Tops Tex creek) but I would like to with the F4 someday.
I'm not too big on blade steel in all honesty. I just want something that sharpens quickly and doesn't chip. 1095 is like home to me but recently grown to love 3V and magnacut too. I look forward to getting another F4 Gen2 to have as a backup. I always sell or gift my previous edc fixed blade to someone when I get a new one but hopefully I won't ever have to do that again.
This is so well worth the money, what an incredible tool
