This black Kydex sheath is ambidextrous and fits all of our F3 EDC Fixed Blade Knife variants in a saber grind. When you insert the knife into the sheath you will feel a gratifying “Click” that lets you know your knife is secure. Additional features include:

  • A drain at the tip to prevent fluid build up inside the sheath

Better than most!

Maybe better than all. Not your average Taco Kydex sheath! The belt clip that it comes with it is great!

This sheath is incredibly sturdy. Slightly thicker than once I've seen from other top knives. The blade snaps in place with a loud click that lets you know it's there.

It's designed in a special way that allows part of the sheath to split open slightly where the blade side of the handle will lock in.

I haven't messed around with taking the clip off yet but there are several different holes in slots looks like it would be good for scout carry or diagonal.

One thing I absolutely love is that it is truly fitted for the f3. Where the Kydex sheath that comes with other companies Flagship models may be hard to put back in or dull the blade of the knife this doesn't seem like it's going to have that problem at all.

Don't buy this for other knives. It truly is fitted for the f3. You can even see the detail of the saber grind on the outside of the kydex.

Perfect fit

The one thing I love about Reiff knives is that they’re made the same and they look the same and their dimensions are the same no matter when you buy it. Very good quality control. Therefore, you can buy the leather sheets with your first knife and then order at a later date the kydex sheath knowing it is going to fit perfectly and it does. Excellent job!

Great little sheath

I bought my F3 used and wanted the kydex. Glad I went with the Reiff sheath. It fits perfectly.

Good retention, rattles a bit.

I have the F4 with kydex also, and in my opinion, the F4's sheath is better. Both sheaths have good retention and good ergonomics with thumb ramps.
The F4 has a fold-over sheath with better fit. The F4 fits dead-snug, no rattle, easy draw, and it has a groove along the spine edge that makes it easy to locate the knife back into the sheath without looking.
The F3 sheath is a 2-piece sheath. The one I received has a lot of rattle between the knife and the sheath, and it's a bit more difficult to guide the blade into place. I tend to try to avoid the loud pop of inserting the knife by easing it in past the retention point while applying backwards pressure with my hand wrapped around it, and I often end up pinching the skin on the side of my pointer finger between the sheath and the knife's handle. This isn't an issue when I have a belt clip securing the sheath in my pocket or on my belt, only when I'm trying to carry without a clip in my pocket and sheathe it with one hand.
I was able to fit an UltiClip Slim 3.3 into 2 holes on the F3 sheath in both near-vertical and canted angles.
All-in-all, I call it a good sheath with nicely placed holes, would bump it to 4 stars if it didn't rattle, 5 for a fold-over like the F4 has.
